Every cookie and browser-storage item this site uses, what each one is for, and where to change the choice you made.

Your choice

Essential cookies always run: they keep you signed in and remember this choice. Everything else is optional: PostHog analytics, which counts how the site is used, and the two attribution cookies, which remember how you found us. One choice covers both. You can change your mind here at any time; withdrawing stops the analytics and deletes all of them straight away.

Cookies we set

All of these are first-party — set by usejaunt.com for usejaunt.com and api.usejaunt.com — and none is read by an advertising network. The PostHog cookie is read only by the analytics code on this site, which sends what it counts to PostHog.

There are no advertising or session-recording cookies on this site, and nothing here tracks you across other sites.

Browser storage

A few pages keep small items in your browser's storage. It is not a cookie: it is never sent to us on its own. Session storage is deleted when you close the tab; local storage stays until it is removed, which for PostHog's item happens the moment you withdraw.

Jaunt staff pages also keep jaunt_concierge_draft there — an unsent reply in the support console. Visitors never reach those pages.

Other companies

Some pages load hotel photographs, map tiles and a map code library from other companies' servers, and paying sends you to Stripe's own checkout page. Those companies see your IP address and may set cookies of their own on their own sites, under their own policies. If you accept analytics, your browser also sends PostHog, in the EU, the pages you visit and the links and buttons you click on this site, with search details cut out of every web address. The privacy notice lists who they all are and what they receive.
